§ The Manifesto
A Declaration Of
Software Independence
01

There was a time when software was a product you bought, not a service you rented. You paid for it, you installed it, and you owned it. It ran on your machine, under your control. That sense of ownership has been deliberately, systematically eroded.

02

The SaaS model has turned users into tenants. You pay rent every month for the same digital space, and the moment you stop, you're evicted. Your access is cut off. Your data becomes a hostage. Your workflow is held ransom.

03

This model enriches the "landlords" of the software world, but leaves users powerless — facing ever-increasing rents for tools they fundamentally depend on. We believe there is a better way, and we are building it.

04

The technology for self-hosting has never been more accessible. The complexity that once justified the SaaS model is dissolving. The door to true ownership stands open again. We are choosing to walk through it.

05

We commit to transparency, user control, and a deep respect for your autonomy. You own your tools. You control your data. You decide your digital future. This is not a feature — it is our founding principle.
